About
Jeannine Mills
Jeannine Mills is an AHPRA-registered psychologist with more than 20 years of counselling experience. Her approach is practical and compassionate. Therapy is about developing a stronger relationship with yourself—understanding your experiences, emotional patterns, strengths and values so you can get to the heart of what is keeping you stuck.
Together, Jeannine and her clients explore:
-
The past: what has happened, what was needed and how earlier experiences may still shape present-day beliefs, emotions and relationships.
-
The present: recognising current challenges, coping patterns and emotional triggers, while developing healthier and more effective ways to cope.
-
The future: identifying personal values, strengths and priorities, and working towards a life that feels more confident, connected and meaningful.
Jeannine draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Restorative Practices. The aim is not simply to manage symptoms. It is to help you understand yourself, recognise your strengths and make changes that are both meaningful and sustainable.
