About

Jeannine Mills

Jeannine Mills is an experienced Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Jeannine works with clients face to face, or via telehealth. She also works with clients who are using a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP).

Taking a compassionate, practical, and transparent approach to her counselling Jeannine focuses on building a good rapport with clients. She provides a safe and confidential space to work with her clients to address the past (what has happened and how it has shaped who you are), the present (identifying your challenges and ways of coping and finding healthier ways to get through the difficult times) and future (to decide what we want for our lives and how to work towards a better future).

Jeannine works with clients who want to address their mental health issues: anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, negative thinking, relationship challenges and unhelpful coping patterns. She also collaborates with clients who wish to work on a more positive future for themselves, building stronger connections and a sense of optimism, confidence & self-appreciation.

Jeannine uses evidence-based treatments, tailored to the client’s needs, and works with adults in a one-on-one setting. These evidence-based treatments include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Restorative Practices.
